New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the date of commencement of the Board examinations for students of Class XII and X from the first working day of March 2010, i.e. March 1, 2010.
The detailed date-sheet for the examinations will however be announced in the last week of December, said a circular issued by the CBSE on Friday.
With the decision of the Board to launch the grading system for classes IX and X from the current academic year 2009-10, students will get their "statement of subject-wise performance" in the form of grades for the first time.
Meanwhile, the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) will be held on April 25, 2010. The preliminary exam for the All-India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is scheduled for April 3, while the final one will be conducted on May 16, 2010.
